The IATA Annual General Meeting is the world’s largest gathering of airline leaders. This 79th edition took place on 4, 5 and 6 June in Istanbul, Türkiye. It is worth noting that this year’s attendance record has been broken, since approximately 1,500 aviation leaders, Strategic Partners and media also took part of it.
AIRE attended this event along side a delegation represented by its President, Mr Michael Harrington, its Vice-President, Mrs Özlem Salihoglu, as well as the supporting team of Mrs Özlem Ozyon, Mrs Emine Banu Ekerim, Mr Alper Kasikci and Ms Elena Jaraíz. It has been an extraordinary opportunity not only to get an up-close look at the major issues facing the industry right now, but to exchange views among other leading industry experts.
