On 18 October, Airlines International Representation in Europe team had the opportunity of visiting the headquarters of Turkish Airlines in Istanbul. This visit provided us with a unique opportunity to gain firsthand insight into their operations, explore their innovative approaches, and connect with the dedicated professionals who are pivotal in driving their success within the aviation industry.
During our visit, AIRE representatives Elena Jaraíz and Nadine Braun Amaral engaged in several productive discussions focused on two vital topics: Sustainability and Passenger Rights. These conversations facilitated an excellent exchange of ideas and concerns, underscoring our shared commitment to advancing these critical issues in the aviation sector. The collaboration with Turkish Airlines team allowed us to explore various strategies and initiatives aimed at enhancing passenger experiences while promoting environmentally sustainable practices.
AIRE team also had the pleasure of meeting Özlem Salihoğlu, Senior Vice President of International Relations and Alliances, who warmly welcomed us to their headquarters. Our discussions with Ms. Salihoğlu were both enlightening and constructive, as we addressed key action points that will guide our collaborative efforts in the upcoming period.
