On 1 October, Airlines International Representation in Europe held the event ‘Aviation Strategy for a Stronger Europe,’ which was hosted by Eliza Vozemberg, Chair of the European Parliament’s Transport Committee. This event provided a unique platform for AIRE members and key industry stakeholders to come together and engage in meaningful discussions about the future of aviation in Europe.
Throughout the evening, participants explored the pressing challenges currently facing the aviation sector, including economic pressures, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies. The insightful dialogue highlighted the need for collaborative approaches to address these issues and to ensure the industry’s resilience and growth.
A key highlight of the event was the participation of representatives from the European Commission, who enriched the discussions by sharing their perspectives on critical topics such as sustainability and passenger rights. These discussions underscored the importance of developing strategies that prioritize environmental responsibility while also protecting the rights and interests of travelers.
As we move forward, AIRE is committed to advocating for a more sustainable aviation sector that balances economic viability with environmental stewardship. We believe that through continued collaboration and open dialogue among industry stakeholders, we can navigate the challenges ahead and work towards a stronger, more sustainable future for aviation in Europe.
Looking forward to our ongoing efforts together!
