Özlem Özyön is a senior aviation executive with over 25 years of experience in the airline industry. She currently serves as Senior Vice President, International Relations & Alliances at Turkish Airlines, where she leads global airline partnerships, alliance relations, and aero-political affairs. 

Dr. Özyön has leveraged her vast experience gained from working in multiple units, including Ground Operations, to successfully manage partnerships in Europe and oversee relations with global and international organizations in her role as Manager of International Relations & Agreements for Europe and Alliances at Turkish Airlines.

With a motivational style of leadership in her present role, she coordinates civil aviation negotiations, oversees codeshare and interline agreements along with managing strategic engagement with regulatory authorities and international organizations. Beyond her corporate career, she holds a PhD in Operations Research and has served as an Associate Professor in academia for 10 years, delivering lectures on topics such as Airline Management, Strategic Foresight, and Aviation Principles.
