On 29 October, Airlines International Representation in Europe had the opportunity to visit LOT Polish Airlines’ headquarters in Warsaw. During this visit, AIRE representatives Nadine Braun and Elena Jaraiz held a series of impactful meetings with LOT’s team, focusing on shared priorities and exploring strategies to address key challenges in the aviation sector.
The discussions centered around crucial topics such as:
- Sustainability – with insights from Mateusz Dziudziel and Alicja Bulak, we explored innovative strategies for reducing environmental impact and enhancing sustainability practices.
- General Affairs – meeting with Piotr Dolata and Borys Sadowski, our teams discussed core industry trends and upcoming regulatory developments.
- Slot Management – Bartłomiej Muszyński led discussions addressing current challenges in slot allocation
- Passenger Rights – in collaboration with Aleksandra Palicka, we exchanged ideas on the latest initiatives introduced by the European Commission to amend Regulations (EC) 261/2004 and 1107/2006, as well as the proposal related to multimodal journeys.
These conversations underscored the importance of partnership in advancing our shared objectives, from sustainable growth to regulatory compliance and enhanced service standards.
We look forward to building on the insights gained during these discussions as we continue to collaborate closely with LOT Polish Airlines in the months ahead.
