Airlines International Representation in Europe (AIRE) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the Organization Award at the 2025 Regional Air Transport Conference.
The award ceremony took place on September 8, 2025, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, during the 4th edition of the Regional Air Transport Conference, hosted by Cluj International Airport. This major event brought together leading aviation professionals and institutional stakeholders from across Europe to address key topics including regional development and geopolitical challenges in air transport.
AIRE was recognized for its longstanding commitment to advancing the interests of the aviation industry at the regulatory level, for facilitating access to key European and international institutions, and for its unique status as the oldest airline association in Europe.
The award was presented to Michael Harrington, President & DG of AIRE, during the conference.
This recognition reaffirms AIRE’s dedication to fostering collaboration, innovation, and sustainable development in the aviation sector.
