Europe´s oldest Airline Association, Airlines International Representation in Europe (AIRE) is thrilled to announce the addition of Air Albania as full member effective as of May 2024. Air Albania is the national flag carrier of Albania, having its hub and company headquarters at Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza in Tirana. The airline was founded in 2018, now serving 11 destinations in Europe and Asia Minor, with a fleet of Airbus family A320 aircraft.

Air Albania has a particular strength in its dedicated attention to Albanian traditions and values, which also highlights some diversity in the European aviation market.

Air Albania´s CEO Sinan Dilek said ´´this development is a new step to strengthen our communication with Europe, as well as our contribution to the development and promotion of Albania´´.

Michael Harrington, President of AIRE welcomed Air Albania to AIRE saying ´´It is particularly important we represent a number of airlines which being on the periphery of the EU can add value to the work in aviation advocacy AIRE is contributing towards, especially in the front of the European Institutions´´.

Air Albania is a most welcome addition to our AIRE membership.
