AIRE Attends IATA World Legal Symposium 2026 in Warsaw

Airlines International Representation in Europe (AIRE) is pleased to participate in the International Air Transport Association (IATA) World Legal Symposium, taking place this week in Warsaw. The Symposium is a premier global forum where airline leaders, legal experts, and industry stakeholders convene to discuss the evolving landscape of airline liability, regulatory compliance, and the legal challenges shaping the future of aviation.

During this morning’s Welcome Remarks, Michal Fijol, CEO of LOT Polish Airlines, the host of this year’s event, emphasized a principle that resonates across the aviation industry: rebalancing in aviation is not optional, it is essential. Liability must align with operational and corporate commitment, and profits that outpace responsibility cannot endure. True progress depends on partnership, where solidarity is a guiding principle and collaboration creates sustainable value for all stakeholders.

The IATA World Legal Symposium provides a unique platform for exchanging insights on critical issues including airline liability frameworks, regulatory developments, dispute resolution, and emerging legal trends affecting international air transport. This year’s agenda includes interactive panels, case studies, and workshops designed to foster dialogue between airlines, regulators, and legal professionals from around the world.

AIRE looks forward to engaging with peers, sharing airline perspectives, and contributing to the next chapter of aviation’s legal and regulatory development, ensuring that European airlines remain compliant, competitive, and connected in a rapidly evolving global sector.
