Yesterday, the Board members of the Brussels-based Airlines International Representation in Europe (AIRE) welcomed Eamonn Brennan, the new Director General of Eurocontrol to their meeting.
Mr Brennan presented his vision for the future of the Eurocontrol agency, putting stakeholders’ requirements at the centre of the Agency’s strategy and activities.
He added that a new financial model underpinning the service provision of air traffic management will be the key to balance future demand with capacity.
AIRE airline members share that vision and look forward to a renewed approach towards achieving the Single European Sky performance targets.
Sylviane Lust, AIRE Director General, ensured Eurocontrol’s Director General of AIRE’s full support and cooperation to achieve this objective.
